We built the inbox we always wanted
RokMail was born from frustration with per-seat email tools that punish team growth. There's a better way.
Our story
In 2024, our team was paying over $400/month for a shared inbox tool — mostly because it charged per seat. We had 11 people who occasionally touched customer emails, and we were being billed for all of them. It felt absurd.
We looked at the alternatives and found the same pattern everywhere: pricing that scales with headcount, not usage. For a small business where everyone pitches in on support, that model is punishing.
So we built RokMail. A shared inbox where you pay for email volume and inbox count, not the number of people on your team. Everyone can pitch in. Nobody gets left out because you can't afford the extra seat.
We launched in early 2025. Today, hundreds of teams use RokMail to route thousands of emails every day — without the per-seat tax.
Our mission
"Make collaborative email accessible to every team, regardless of size."
What we believe
bolt
Speed over ceremony
We ship fast, learn faster, and don't let process get in the way of progress. Every feature starts with a real user problem.
handshake
Radical transparency
Our pricing is flat, our roadmap is public, and our support team actually answers. No dark patterns, no bait-and-switch.
diversity_3
Teams first
RokMail is built for collaboration. We design every feature imagining a team of five, not a solo power user.
shield
Privacy by default
Zero plaintext credentials stored. AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit. We don't sell data — email is sensitive and we treat it that way.
precision_manufacturing
Engineering craft
Sub-3-second delivery via IMAP IDLE, Gemini AI routing, BullMQ concurrency. We care about the details nobody else notices.
self_improvement
Sustainability
We're building a business that lasts, not chasing hockey-stick growth. Profitable, lean, and focused on the long game.
